Hello all simmers: Ok I hope this is in the right section.
A while ago I had to ditch my 6 yr old computer cause, the motherbord was fried. I bought a window7 and since i installed milkshake, i notice that when I'm doing uv adjustment, and I move a point at the grid it does not automatically show in the 3d view window and I have to move that mesh a bit for the changes to show up. It's quiite frustruating considering uv mapping quite a tediuos jobb. My question is have I missed something when I installed the milkshake cause I'm supposed to see the changes i make instantly and not have to move the mesh in 3d window first. I have a feeling there is a something I missed and that's why the changes are not interactive like they used to be on my old computer. Any help would be appreciated .

Thanks in advance.

I want to refrase my question. Is ther some other thing I have to install to make uv mapping changes more interactive like it used to be with window xp? I mean like any points changed on uv map, automatically changes on the 3d model instead of me having to move the model around just to see the changes. I'm sure I'm not the only one having to change to window7 so, come on people maybe someone can think of what I'm missing.. Thanks.

Windows 7 is awful. Period. Some people can use MilkShape and SimPE with Windows 7, and others can't... and no amount of troubleshooting seems to help.

The only thing I can think of for UV maps not showing changes is the Redraw box in the Texture Coordinate Editor. Make sure it's checked. Other than, that I have no idea what it could be (and probably nobody else does either, which is why you haven't gotten any responses).

Hello fakepeeps7: You are an angle! That fixed the problem thank you so much. Ya, I know I never wanted to swich to window7 but, my motherbord got fried on my old xp. But I still miss window xp. Other than that, everything works fine now although it took a while to get used to the new interface. Sims2 forever for me no matter what.

I thank you again my friend, you made my day.
