Head...of Milburn Pennybags aka Mr. Monopoly (Part 2)? #1 |

And why would you think so (preferably with an explanation of your person choice)? I'm planning on creating a Sim for a certain upload in the future. I'd like to know who you think this is, for feedback purposes. Here's the issue. I can't really say who it is based on just yet. The person in question is cartoon-based...TOO cartoon based, and has different variations of his design throughout the years. The person's face doesn't have details, per se, so it has to be made up. First, let me see how many responses there are. Then I'll post who it's supposed to look like, along with the only detailed comparison shot I could find (with historical accuracy). EDIT 1: I might have found someone to base his face on, in case for details. In the mean time, I'd still appreciate your responses, please. |

CFF is not a guessing game, you need to provide the comparison pics so you can get actual feedback. |

But I already explained that there's no detailed picture of the fellow in question. If it's so difficult to submit a Sim character, what're the chances this one can be accepted? Well...at least that's what I perceive this to be. Difficult, even for detail-less cartoon character faces. As for this guessing game, it's more of a public opinion poll. If for example many users find this fellow to be more like a certain person, then I would have done a good enough job for uploading to the website (in theory). My concern is if this person would be too "generic", in that it may not be accepted into the uploads. I wanted to make the Sim with as little custom content as possible for this Sim, so that downloaders don't have to download too much items (e.g.: grocery lists of links to here and there). So far, I have recolors of the top hat, and his suit. Then eventually, a recolor of the walking cane to come. So there's 3 custom content pieces, 2 from me, 1 from outside. Anyway, here's the head I'm going for, and this is why the details may not necessarily be useful. This is the comparisons. I've changed the Sim up to look more like the person in the middle. But he doesn't look like the Monopoly guy I was going for (because of the Monopoly guy being a charicature). So, MzzUnvrz, you were correct in the person I was aiming for: ![]() Like I said, too much of a cartoon character, with various designs. And here's coloured pictures of the fellow in his adult stage, and elder stage: ![]() ![]() I also ask for where I can find crutches, and thankfully someone responded. So I'll be adding that to the ensemble. Here's so details I aimed for: ![]() Details not added: - buttons of the shirt - buttons of cuff links - navy blue top hat |

I don't want to sound negative, but you should concider some CC if it can improve him further. Right now there's thousands of sims out there for TS2 so you would want to make this sim as interesting as possible. Try giving him the "happy" eyebrows and some more cartoonish eyes. You have a nice sculpt going on, but as I said the CC or what makes him extraordinary is missing. |

Like the happy eyebrows and cartoon eyes in the third picture on the last row? I was aiming more for a hybrid between the 1933 "Rich Uncle" game box picture & J.P.Morgan's picture. I perceive the original design of the Monopoly guy to be a clever & devious businessperson who would do some shaddy deals at times, without care for morals while not straying too far from the law to be caught cheating. I perceive the happy design to say "come and join me in this fabulous game of business dealings", where as the old design says "come and join me, but be careful about losing your shirt". I didn't think happy eyebrows would work for the character, because the character isn't supposed to be...a helpful, "concerned" person. Although I did exaggerate the eyebrows some more to make it more in line with the charicature. I also heightened the eyes to make it more cartoony. So...how would cartoonish eyes look like for a character with only pupils for eyes? This version looks like he's in eternal shock, lol. EDIT: I've figured out why the eyes weren't right, and have fixed it. Apparently the facial structure hasn't fixed the face too, so now the exaggerated eyes and eyebrows are should above. |

Well, I donīt think that the eyebrow settings really work so well with you sim. He looks very shocked or angry. Even if he is the mean rich uncle I always thought that he looks quite friendly on the gameīs box. You could make him more "comic-style" with these round black eyes (I think Maxis provides some with their Alien-skintone) and some unrealistic looking eyebrows. |

I've made some change in the sculpt of the eyebrows. But I kept the brown eyes. Didn't like the alien black eyes. His expression looks more in tune with his "Rich Uncle" picture, and seems a little bit happier. In your opinions, is it better? |

The new eyebrows look much better. I'm not usually a fan of elder sims, but he looks great as an elder! He's definitely got an interesting facial sculpt coming along. I think he just needs a fabulous outfit. |

Alright, slight update. As I mentioned previously, I was asking for where I can get a walking cane for my Sim, and I was pointed to rosesims2's website. I modified the cane from there, to make it look similar to Uncle Pennybag's charicature cane, and this was the result, so far (in BodyShop): Although, as you can see, I'm having som issues with joining the cane to the Sim's hand in the arms-to-the-side position. Can someone please help point me to a tutorial (or PM me) with instructions on how to join the cane together with the hand? |
