I need help please and is anyone else having this problem: I have removed my custom content and have deleted the cache files i've read to do.. My game works, i just can't audition or sing-a-gram in the singer career.. everytime i click the option to sing-a-gram or try to audition, the person who i'm doing this to stops what they're doing so i can continue to do what i'm supposed to but as the the action is in que (even if its the only action in que) is resets and goes away (the action) and/or i end up back at home..? it wont let me do these things at all.. i have updated my game and everything. i have the system requirements so i dont know what is wrong. if anyone can help me, i'd be much appreciative.

  • Sims 3 - Game Problems
Please go through this FAQ and follow the instructions, doing each step in order and not skipping anything:Most issues with the game can be resolved by following those steps.

What world is the Save based on? Is this on a brand new post-1.31-patch Save or a pre-1.31-patch Save?

You didn't do the 3rd step?
Then, please follow the guide in Full, and then tell us how it performs on new game + vanilla settings with a default EA Sim.

I read that the performing Sim need to be wearing their Career outfit in order to perform. If you've already switched their outfits to the one default Career outfit (and have no other on the list) than, you may be having the outfit glitch that is discussed here - http://nraas.wikispaces.com/message...377076#51380518

For the sing a gam you need to change into an outfit? Do you normally have problems with lagging when changing to an outfit? Do you have the system requirements? My computers graphics are a bit slow so when it lags for me I out the game on pause and just wait a little, then it changes. If thats not it, then it could be a glitch and the new patch should fix it.

I was having this exact problem and couldn't for the life of me get my sim to perform, but once I'd removed all of my mods and made sure my sim was wearing their career outfit they set up their stage and performed.
