My business is an electronics store right now and I got it to rank up to level 8. I've downloaded Paladin's Playables don't go broke (I think that's the name) fix so that the other playable that's in my custom neighbourhood don't go broke. I would make on average 5-6 grands in simoleons nowadays, until now.

The same 5 star loyalty customers come in and buy stuff all the time until now, where I'd get townies like Benjamin Long and Brandon doing nothing but complaining about my cashier, Amin doing nothing but starting fights. Incidently one of my other playable Sims I made so her family could be a customer to my business does nothing but start fights as well.

All in all, the end result is nobody is looking at anything except starting conversations or fights in my shop. I'm wondering what exactly is the problem here? This whole problem started after I installed the Paladin fix by the way.

Have you tried to remove that fix from your game just to see if the problem persists?

Eh that's what I've been pondering about too.

  • General - Do the Game Problem FAQ
You appear to have not gone through our main Game Help:Game Problemwiki FAQ. Please go through and do the steps on this FAQ, including any others that it links to (for example the Game Help:Game Problem-Problem Custom Contentwiki FAQ).

Usually, in the vast majority of cases, actually going through and doing the steps (doing, not just reading) fixes issues - sometimes you may be asked to remove custom content, or to patch - please rest assured that all of our FAQs have been tested by our staff and volunteers and we wouldn't suggest you do something unless it's been known to fix particular issues.

No good pondering about it; actually do it! ;)

Actually, I tried fixing the problem by removing the fix, it's still the same result.

I'm wondering, is there a max limit on how many things a Sim can have in their inventory?

If there is a limit, it's -really- high. According to my husband, Goopy bought 283 toilets from my husband's plumbing store once.

You did clear caches after removing CC?

The next step is to make sure your neighborhood backup is safe, and see if the problem continues with -all- of the CC gone. (If you got to level 8, you already know about making sure a salesperson is always directing a customer to something instead of just leaving them standing around.)

I am Ghost. My husband (who made the account because I was too shy) is sidneydoj. I post, he downloads, and I wanted to keep my post count.
