First of all, I apologise if all my questions will sound noobish, but I've been a Mac user for 15 years and just ordered my very first PC for gaming and am quite clueless about many things.
This new PC comes with a 2 TB HDD and a 128 GB SSD and now I don't know exactly what do do with these. As far as I have read so far, the OS should preferably go onto the SSD but what about the rest? Should I install the programs on the HDD together with the user files and is there anything I should keep in mind for doing so? I've read some of the threads with problems that can arise when TS3, for example, is installed on one drive and user files on another and to be honest, I didn't understand a single thing.
Installing everything on the SSD is not an option for me, this I know already, as it is too small for my needs.
So, is there anyone with the patience to handhold and spoonfeed me through the optimum set-up of my new system, which is going to be Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit?

Edit: So, after some research I came up with the following:
(1) You cannot simply tell the OS that the user accounts are on a different drive. But you can move folders (Documents, Pictures etc.) from inside the user folders, according to this guy
(2) I guess you can do the same with the Public folder? (I use this for downloading mods so that I have access to these for different user accounts)
(3) You create a folder on the second drive for installing programs, i.e., games. I should be set then?
(4) Additionally I can also relocate the page files, index files, hibernation files, also following this guy
(5) Did I miss anything?
