Hi,

I've been editing a railing mod someone made, because the railing looks SUPER shiny outdoors. Now I've found something on the net about that a white alpha channel makes objects shiny, so I made the alpha black and added a little dark grey dot in it so the alpha doesn't get removed.

Still, it's SUPER shiny. Can anyone tell me what I have to do to remove this shiny-ness?

Greetings Bob

the alpha of wat?
You need to edit the specular texture.
Depending wat object it is they come in 2 formats, dxt1noalpha and dxt5interpolatedalpha.
On the one without the alpha you can darken the white of the railings directly, on the dxt5 you need to do that on the alpha channel.
