What are you going to do when Supernatural comes out? Using known info
I know it's a bit early for a thread like this, but haven't been this excited for an EP since TS2.
I'm planning on making a Romeo and Juliet type neighborhood with a twist. There will be two factions (obviously), the Technoids (Robots, Clones, Aliens, with high tech stuff) and the Magicons (The supernatural's part of town, with magical stuff) . The two factions will be split by their differences, but one Vampire falls in love with an Android (Which can be made by editing simbots in CAS), and the rest will be up to the player (if I end up uploading it.) Maybe the man in the Blue Shack at the center of town will help...
Anyways, enough rambling. What do you want to do with this EP?
If you are getting it of course. Do NOT devolve this into a flamewar.
What I'm going to do is buy it and install it, if I have the money. I like the EP's that add a bunch of 'fun' stuff to the game I like, rather than changing the nature of it like Pets and the much-anticipated Seasons.
Explore Moonlight falls on horseback with my Lady Godiva sim and her mighty collection helper to seek out mushrooms and new collectibles
Or build a Lone werewolf sim to get a collection helper and become my new world explorer, if the werewolf lycantrophy skill turns out to be really suited for outdoorsy exploration... which I hope it is.
I'm working on a town atm that's mystical and ancient, but then aliens crash on to it, so this ep will be perfect for that. Witches and fairies in the forests, zombies wandering around the site of the spaceship crash, angry vampires who hate the taste of alien and updating farmers so they can keep pet bees and things. It's gonna be awesome. (:
On the subject of new EP's/Patches breaking Mods, I'm just gonna hope that the post-Pets policy of splitting EP resources up won't break anything more than the mods that are currently broken anyway, through not noticing it happened.
I'm a bit worried about what Improved Vampires are gonna do to the EP3 resources, for obvious reasons. Gonna have to keep a close eye on the EP3 Social Data ...
Open Moonlight Falls and check it out in detail, enter CAS and see what's new and play around a while, then look for a suiting lot for my own old dear family to arrive on, redecorate the house and grounds with the new interesting stuff, and then get going. I'm gonna' breed or turn them into each of the creatures and then explore it _all_, like usual.... =) Later on I'm gonna' make a try to create the ultimate hybrid, in case it's possible to cross all lifestates.
And scream a bit since I'd be so happy I could die to have it installed.
...and in case they havn't fixed the lost fish bug assemble perfect fish of all types again.
Guys, you can control the supernatural populations with buttons now. No need to skip because you only like, say, witches.
Personally I'm going to try and incite a duel and make some badass potions in my lair. Do you think that potions from the meth lab set I mean the potions set that came with Generations will be upgraded too? Or will they be separate things? o_o

I'm a girl. Angie. Or DS for all of you lazy shmucks out there. You know who you are.
Quite possibly the owner of the largest TS2 downloads folder on this site. Last count: 75 GB
Make a Sim of each new creature, plus the old ones, and give them each a unique home to live in! Who knows if I'll actually play though, haha. I might have to try for at least a day, though any new build/buy objects will surely distract me for a while
While the possibilities for this expansion seem nearly endless to me, here are some I came up with earlier:
-See if a human man with genie powers (ie: a Genie offspring that didn't inherit blue skin) can also become a wizard. If so, make a Jafar-esque Middle Eastern sorcerer who can also ensorcel and banish people like a genie and insta-clean his house on account of having a genie mother.
-Make his rival, a classic old crone witch who bears more than a passing resemblance to Margaret Hamilton. They constantly bicker over who the more powerful magic user is and who should be the local grand high witch/wizard, and both have strong cases in their favour- the sorcerer runs the local magic shop, while the witch has a spooky old house containing every magic item in the game and has a long history as the local magic expert.
-Stage a vampire/werewolf riot in the poor, run-down part of town. (Whenever I play a game where I control towns or cities, I basically always add in the bad part of town) The police can't really do much about this given that they're, well, puny humans.
-Make Grigori Rasputin.
-Make a fraudulent psychic, then remake the Gypsy Matchmaker and have her drive him out of town.
-Have a fairy perpetually drunk on fairy nectar that discovers the internet and then makes it her life's mission to troll reality. Some message boards evidently made a great impression on her.
