Hiya

My sims Jake and Melody had 2 babies (one each!), and I thought it would be nice if Jake's parents invited the family round.

So they did, then the babies needed changing. Jake's parents still have a nursery, but I couldn't get anyone to change the nappies.

So I asked Jake to leave (Ask Everyone to Leave), but him and Melody left the babies behind!

I exited without saving as I didn't know what to do

Also Jake's alien baby, Sisally, has human eyes instead of alien eyes. Is that normal?

The grandparents can't take the babies home with them, no matter how much the parents want to get rid of the toxic load the baby's created.

If you don't have a changing table on hand, you can click on the baby while it's being held and the option "change diaper" should come up. Then have the parent give the baby a bath in the sink afterwards.

And the eye issue is normal. The black alien eyes are geneticized at the same strength as brown eyes and dark blue eyes.

I'm guessing you teleported the babies in--there should be an option on your teleporter to get rid of them. On Inge's cat it's called 'zap'.

If Sisally has a non-alien skintone, it could be that you need to go get the "creaturefixes" mod from MATY. (With EAxis coding, the alien eyes can't be displayed on non-alien skintones.) Also, some interactions involving babies are disabled if the baby isn't a member of the current household, for whatever reason.

Thanks everyone for answering.

Aegagropilon-Thanks, but I wasn't trying to get the grandparents to take the babies home. Jake and Melody had taken the babies round to Romeo and Juliet's (Jake's parents) house. I was trying to get Jake and Melody to take their babies back home with them. Jake's parents still have a nursery, so there was a changing table. I tried clicking on the babies whilst being held but 'change diaper' wouldn't come up. That's the problem. The parents (Jake and Melody) couldn't bath the babies as they had gone home without them.

Phew thanks I'm glad the eye thing is normal!

Sunbee-Thanks, but no I didn't teleport them, I have no idea what that is. I went to Romeo and Juliet' house, invited Jake and Melody's household (ie. them and their 2 babies) and they came round. They just left without the babies.

Larky-Thanks, but Sisally doesn't have any special skintones, I had Jake abducted so he got alien pregnant. She is an alien baby, she just has human eyes. Oh thanks I did wonder if it was because they didn't live there. I thought 'Ask Everyone to Leave' would make Jake and Melody take them home, but they just left them behind

I've seen human eyes on alien skins before. Pascal's child from his abduction occasionally has his blue eyes, and one time Vidcund's child from his abduction had his blue eyes. A long time ago Mercutio Monty was abducted and his son had his brown eyes. Most of the time the children of abduction get alien eyes, but some do get human eyes along the DNA of the abducted parent.

Babies and toddlers that come over with the invite household over option won't go home on their own. You'll need to turn the moveobjects cheat on and delete them in build mode. It won't cause any problems, just like deleting any other visiting sim it'll just get them off the lot.

I think the simblender might have a banish visitors option which will make all visitors disappear from the lot, but I'm not sure.

Orilon-Thankyou, it looks weird but as long as it's normal I won't worry!

MuletotheFoxxes-Oh thankyou! I didn't know what to do! Thankyou for explaining. I wanted the grandparents to meet the babies properly, so now I think I'll take them round again!

How on earth did you get this situation? Babies and toddlers are never brought along normally - they don't appear in the Invite Household choices. If I want someone that age to visit Gramma, I have to teleport them in using Inge's teleporter cat. Although I've had a toddler or two leave under his own power, or with a parent when it got late, generally they have to be zapped home the same way.

I have read on here about glitches where the baby came along independently to a community lot and then nobody could interact with it, but I don't know how that happens, either.

All you can do is the best you can do.

I've had a toddler come with his parents to a community lot when another sim asked them to go on an outing. Other sims could interact with him though, he just walked home afterwards.

If they have the hack by dickhurt you can take toddlers with you to community lots and they show when you invite household.
