 Notice of extended downtime, 22nd August onwards

Hi All, Thanks to the efforts of all the donaters, the recent donation drive we ran allowed us to purchase some new hardware for the site. This hardware has now been ordered and I am in the process of setting it up to start hosting the site. In order to complete the job, I will need to make final up-to-date copies of the files, software and databases. This is expected to take at least a full day of downtime, but probably more. Please accept this post as notification of extended downtime. Start: Wednesday 22nd August, approximately 10am CET End: ~Friday 24th August I will be keeping my twitter (https://twitter.com/delphymts) up to date with more technical information and estimates of how it's going. I'm glad you were able to purchase new hardware. I'll have a mini panic attack that the site will be closed only to find it is back up again by the time I'm done panicking. So you know, the usual. |
