OBS settings 18.0.1 for filming The Sims 4
Hi there!

Can somebody help me out?
I would love to make Sims video's for on YouTube, but when I record with OBS the video is SUPER laggy.
It doesn't look smooth and keeps freezing...But in my game it self, everything works perfectly fine.

Can somebody please help me out with this? :-).
That would make me sooo happy.

I think Fraps does an excellent job with every game, I haven't never even attempted to try the built in recorder, but for lag free footage, do not record onto the same HD as your Sims 4 Saves folder, due to it continuously writing scratch temporary files in one spot and recording in another, you will easily lose performance in both game and video.

Also you should always record with uncompressed video, it's take a lot of HD space but re-encoding can come later during post-production.
