Default How to align adult male jeans with the child torso without clipping and gaps?
I'm trying to convert a pair of adult male jeans and shirt for children and there's gap between the bottom torso and the jeans are too skinny and in game the jeans are clipping into the legs and I tried to convert this adult Nike shirt for children I think it looks really good although i haven't tried in game yet what do you think?
Edit:In the game there are a bunch of holes on the jeans and you could see through it plus the arms are weirdly positioned and bended like the character is fat and I converted the shirt and it looks like there are untextured sleeves on it. I placed the adult version the child version side by side along with Milkshape view of the shirt and sleeves.
Update:I just now realized that the sleeves were on the lower polygon shirt so I took the lower poly model of the child nude mesh scaled it to look like the adult mesh except without the sleeves, broad chest and thick arms and this the result but I didn't check it on CTU and the game yet
and i'm still working on making the jeans fit on a child the holes and clipping but i'm using the EA made pants that came with the base game as a reference this time.

And here's the view of the sleeves on the shirt so you could get a closer look of it. Sorry for the double post but I ran out of room on the last post.

Now the jeans issue is because it's over the limited amount of bones in one group. An explanation on that can be found here (See
My mesh explodes in the game. Why???) : http://simlicious.tumblr.com/post/7...-things-to-know

Then on the connecting the pieces together is actually quite easy! I showed it in a video right here: https://youtu.be/44shiWla2PE?t=3m8s
Now to get a reference mesh, I usually go with a nude top or bottom. In this case you want to get the top And do the same C + N shortcut thingy I do there as well. That should fix the gap at the waist.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for replying. I really just wanted to do this because I really like the jeans on the adult so I wanted it to available for children to wear so I decided to convert them
but the gaps and holes are getting in the way of accomplishing that but i'm very open to learning new things so thanks for helping me out. I'll let you know if I run into any trouble with the jeans and shirt.

After multiple trials and errors I was able to align the jeans with the nude top without any gaps but I still have a huge problem with the holes and the arms are still spread out from the jeans while playing the game and I tried to follow the directions on the tutorial but it just says to sever the hands and since i'm dealing with jeans I don't know how that would apply to me.
