I use Pescado's nohumble for that. Rod Humble never shows up at anybody's house to deliver the computer. Instead, his computer is added to the Buy Mode catalog. If your sims want one, it will cost them $1500. The TS3 game has been removed from it though. I guess Pescado didn't like it for some reason.

@Sparklypotato You can also put moveobjects on and delete the box off the lot for 0.

Ok, here's one. I think it's dumb that servos have gender, and I think it's even dumber that the male servo is the "default" and the female one has the stupid eyelashes.
Does anyone know if there is a mod that changes any of this? Ideally servos would be neuter or genderless, but even if something made the female ones not look stupid, I'd take it.

There are a couple of defaults that give male and female Servos the same, pretty androgynous appearance, also some very robotic ones, like Mr.Handy from Fallout:

Taking an extended break from Sims stuff. Might be around, might not.

There are probably half a dozen defaults for servos, from sims 3 style robots to wooden medieval ones and a variety in between.

I don't know of any mods that change the gender thing, but at least there are a lot of defaults for servos if you don't like the look Maxis gave them.

Thanks, I need that mod. Don't mind when some jerk does it to someone (Why are you doing that to a girl you have a crush on. Jerk). But when my very serious, or very nice person does it...STOP!

According to the Prima Guide, it's cross-platform. Share the codes with your friends! Even your friends who have the console version of Pets! The list of items unlocked for the console game doesn't look worth the bother either.
So it's either their earliest attempt at "collectables" or one of their earliest attempts to make The Sims into a social game. Either way, it didn't work.

Can't you just make Susan in Sims 2 if you want to?
Please don't spam the Sims 2 forum about Sims 3 things. I don't think you would like it if we went into the Sims 3 forum and started spamming it with threads about the Sims 2.
I post once in a blue moon and then hibernate and draw- sorry about that!

I really wish something could be done about the stupid leaning posture teens have in CAS.

Are your teens particularly lazy? If so, maybe TwoJeffs' "Young Adult Walk & Lazy Anims Fixes" would help.

I thought there were other posture and walk fixing mods, but I don't seem to be able to find them at the moment.

I tried using Cyjon's No CAS Idles to eliminate that slouch. It stops them from moving, but they're either locked into the hands-on-hip pose or the Slouching Tower of Pisa pose.

What I really dislike is that a hood comes full of sims... I know the hacks and tricks... but why not the option "do you want a populated hood?" would be easier!

Amen.
I dislike that sims are not affected enough by bad memories such as the death of a beloved one. Sometimes they mourn more over a lost fight than about a grandparent who died of old age. I do not think there is a way to 'fix' that. I try to take it lightly, though... It is a 2004-2008 game.

And for that matter, one child is unlikely to mourn a parent's death less than the other purely because they happened to be asleep in the next room (rather than gardening at the other end of the lot) at the moment of death.
Fortunately, this is relatively easy to sort out when necessary due to manual intervention.

A tiny irritation, but I wish it was possible to use more than one roof color on a lot.

The welcome wagon (which I modded out http://www.simbology.com/smf/index.php?topic=15.0 a long time ago) has always annoyed me. Unless those sims are going to show up with a fresh baked pie or Lobster Thermidor...keep on moving.
Sims not being able to walk to work or school, and return home the same way. If there is a fix for this, please let me know.
Like others have mentioned, Rod Humble (modded out). If I want my sims to have a computer, I will have them purchase one, EA.
Hobby instructors (also modded out) showing up at your sims homes is all kinds of ridiculous. Imagine this in real life - you complete your 20th push-up or finish up that 12th canvas painting, only to have some stranger barge in to offer you the privilege of coming to a 'secret lot'. Yeah, no.
