do they use the house on their own? and leave it on their own?

Yes, pets will autonomously use the pet house on their own. It works in exactly the same way as the EA pet beds. It just has it's own tuning to stop the pets walking through the walls and so that only one pet can use it at a time.
My test pets regularly try to kick each other out so that they can use it instead.

The 'Low Country Pet House Conversion' is just one file with the tuning incorporated into the file, correct? Just wanted to make sure I had all the files I need to make this pet house work correctly.
Love these pet houses!
