Haha, I think so yes.. Although there are people who eat them, but you have to know what you're doing. It's not recommendable to try because of the poison of course.
Besides that, they look far more beautiful in the forest then on your plate!

Haha, yes it's the same mushroom, only they don't let your Sim grow (That was what they did right?)
