 Small Tutorial: Extracting In-Game Music

Hi  Mods,if you find this useful,please move to an appropriate Tutorial Forum Ive seen this question asked heaps in various places,and the answer is this: *Choose the song that you wanna extract (remember the station and what EP it came with) *My songs that I want are PCD-Dont Cha (Pets EP) and Lily Allen (Seasons) *Open SimPE 1.Click Open..then, Navigate to (presuming this is your DEFAULT installation) : C/ProgramFiles/EAGAmes/TheSims2(EP)/TSDATA/Res/Sound/*station*.package  *Make sure its in PluginView.... *IF you can remember the order of songs,then thats good,if not, tough cookies 2.RightCLick on a file,Extract....  3.I call mine 'Ts2*EP*Song*number*.mp3  *THen choose that it is All Files,and not a .simpe,etc file 4.Open it in your music player,I use iTunes  *If its correct,eat some cake,if not,try again,lol Songs From Pop Station: Pets 1.Aly&AJ-Chemicals React 2.Isabell Huang-Hit it 3.Saving Jane-Girl NExt Door 4.PussyCatDolls-Dont Cha 5.Kristen Dez-Come on COme on Seasons 1.Lily Allen-Smile 2.The Veronicas-When it all falls apart 3.Tata Young-Zoom Hope that you found this useful --thank you PwnagePanther for noting that I didnt put in Res to the location of sound

i think it is useful to some, but could we maybe get some pics? It can be very confusing to a new person to sim PE. |

You forgot something. In the TSData folder you then have to go to Res to be able to get to Sound. |

this is a great tutorial, but SimPE works with th Vb expansion? i have that expansion installed, and in the SimPE web http://sims.ambertation.de/ there are no version available for VB. (till today) Thanks for your work. |

Most awesome! I just thought today that I'd like to 'rearrange' the music in addition to adding custom MP3s. This was the solution! I know, I know, I'm a nerd for wanting to put some 'Pop' Simlish tunes in buy and build mode.... But the Simlish tunes make me giggle.... ;-) |

 Help. !!! I really want to do this but my resource list doesn't appear! There's nothing in plugin view!   EDIT: Never mind now I got it to work.
