Arm tattoo to be wearable with clothes?
I would like to make arm tattoos and have made one using a Maxis tank top. I managed to get the tattoo on the arm just right and I've made the tank top invisible. But it's still designated as an everyday outfit. Is there any way I can convert this file into an accessory so that the arm tattoo can be worn with any outfit? Or if not an accessory, then as a "shirt" that can be worn with any other outfit? As it is now, it's an invisible shirt with a visible tattoo on the arm but I need it to be wearable with any outfit.

What should I do? I do have SimPE. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

(I don't have in-depth modding knowledge but so far I have managed to learn how to make face tattoos wearable with other makeup. I do need step-by-step instructions. Using SimPE still scares me. )

the only way to make the tatoo "wearable" at all times is by creating a custom skin with the tatoo on the right spot. I doubt there is a way to have a sim wear 2 tops at once and i havent seen an accessory to make arm tatoos so far

I've read something about this, and sorry, I don't think it's possible to make 'accessory' tattoos. The Sims doesn't support the extra layer that would be needed to be able to wear body tattoos with all clothes. Face is fine, cause then we have the masks. But like Simguy182 said, you need to do a skin if you want it on the arms.
I could be wrong, not claiming to be an expert here, but I don't think I am.

Simguy, thank you for your input. =) I don't want to make the tattoo as part of a skin as I feel that tattoos should not be a genetic trait. Heh. Maybe I'll just upload the tattoos as "invisible" shirts when I'm done with them. XD

Pickpock, thank you for your time. I'm no expert either, which is why I'm asking. 8D

TweetySims, you only need to post once if you have a question.

Wedding dresses are just recolours of dress meshes in wedding colours and textures. See Faylen's clothing recolouring tutorials for basic information on that, that can then be applied to wedding dresses.

Tattoos are done either by painting the tattoo texturing onto a skintone, or, as mentioned in this thread, as "invisible clothing" - done on a nude/skintight mesh, with the only part of the texturing being the tattoo itself, so your sim will be shirtless/nude but for the tattoo, but as soon as they change clothes they will no longer have the tattoo.
