This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3
Default I can't change appearance anymore
I've tried all the different mirrors and the option has disappeared on me. I can still change my outfit though. Anyone know how I can fix this?

Do you have any mods installed? Is this happening in just one save? Just one family?

I had it happen once with just one Sim in my family for a while.
I tried changing her outfit, and suddenly she could change appearance again too...
Maybe that was why, maybe I just got lucky - can't really tell, but I hope it clears up for you too!

That's happened to some of my sims too and not just in one household. It seems random, can't track a common trigger, but in all cases I did get the option later after playing a while.

I have the facial slider hack thing but I can't remember if this has happened before or after I installed it. And it's happening to a bunch of random families, too. One being my legacy family and her new husband has a blue mohawk that I can't change.

I find that Sims can't change their appearance when they are wearing their work uniform. If you change them back to any other category of clothes the option reappears.

I've had the option disappear on me also. It seems to reset and work if you change households. I have no idea why this is happening. It seems to be some sort of bug with no common trigger.
I'm worried that my latest Salvation Army donation will result in homeless people looking like sluts from the 90s.
