My Sims had a baby, then wanted to travel. I hired a baby sitter, and upon leaving it said that "don't worry. We'll take care of your baby" bla blah. When my sims came back, the baby was gone. I can't find it anywhere in the game. I visited every household I can think of and can't find the darned kid. He's in family and friends view and I tried the reset sims cheat but it didn't work. UGh! Anyone have any ideas? I'm totally clueless at this point..

Most probably did the game put him in the homeless pool (therefore he is still in the family view). Save your game, and phone for an adoption. The social worker should bring him back to you. If not, try again (hence you have to save first).
