I am running Windows 7. My game version is 3.3.11.006001.

After updating to 3.3 (Note, I have WA + HELS, but not Ambitions), I could not use my mods. I looked on the release notes for the 3.3 patch, and it said to places mods in My Documents\The Sims 3\Mods. I put the mods in this folder, with the Resource.cfg folder as it said, and still no mods. I've put the old folder architecture back, and still, no mods work. I can play the game, and I have the features of the patch.

I could be mistaken about the exact place you should be posting but give that a try. Hopefully some mod will be around and just move your post where it should go

Have you updated all your mods to the correct patch?

the resource.cfg file has to be IN the mods folder, now, so you'll have to edit the file to correctly refere to any subfolders
