Default Sims 2 Double Deluxe
Ok, so i have a few questions rolled into one about my version.

1.Is there ANY custom content that will work from this site with my version?
Note:Double deluxe is sims 2,celebration and nightlife rolled into one, i CANNOT ACCESS SIMS 2 SEPERATELY!

2.What area should i put my Downloads folder in?
I run a 64bit Windows 7 and im kind of confused by your guides because they only mention XP and Vista.

Thanks to anyone who answers one or both of these

[I hope i put this in the right section]

Hi there Nessa! Welcome to MTS! There is a ton of CC that will work with your game, actually most of it will. Just tick off under "Edit Profile" the games you have. Downloads go into C:/Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/Downloads, there should be a file there that has that name. If not, go to C:/Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/ and just add one called "Downloads". To get your content to work, make sure CC is enabled within the game.

^^I don't have any file of that sort

my files go

C:/Programs (x86)/EA Games/The Sims 2 Double Deluxe

Then there's a bunch of other files such as

Base
Downloads ( I wasn't sure where to add it )
EP2
SP4
Support

So yea... what one of those do i put my stuff in since theres no " The Sims 2 " Folder. But i think its the " Base "

The Downloads folder doesn't go in the Program Files. It goes in your user files: My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/Downloads. Please read this guide to downloading and installing custom content.

You have to have launched the game at least once for the user files to generate.

Windows 7 is essentially Vista version 2 (much improved); follow Vista instructions.

Any content which is compatible with basegame and Nightlife (and doesn't require other EPs) will work with double deluxe.
