This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations
Default Are there any ways to find corrupted custom content?
By this, I mean without removing it all. I have a fair bit of custom content (items, hair styles and a few mods) installed to my game which has left my game closing itself randomly in the past few days. I'm normally able to fix these problems, but this one doesn't want to stop!

I have removed all of the recent game mods I downloaded, but I don't want to go through hundreds of items trying to get it to work. So, I was wondering if there was a program which helped find any corruptions? A long shot I know, but it seems worth asking before I have to go through my game deleting all my much loved items and mods!

Delphy's dashboard program can find many problems with CC - find it under his profile here at MTS. But it's simply not possible for any program to find ALL problems/corruption/etc. - because individual detections have to be written for each known issue, and even if you think you've gotten them all, the next week, something else might be identified as a problem. Or a random bit of incorrect data might get written into a file, if it was downloaded incorrectly.

You could put back your files by half at a time, and perhaps run Process Monitor to see what is being accessed at the time of any crashes, though.

Ran that program and found a few corruptions, all of which were newer ones so hopefully it has fixed that!

I wanted to try a program first as I have around 600 lots of custom content installed, and I figured it's worth a try to see if they can be fixed by something else before I have to remove/reinstall them 20 at a time and lose an entire day

It's still closed itself sadly, looks like I'm going to be dedicating a day to fixing it. I wonder if I just have too many package files installed. I'm not sure how many is reccommended?

Are these .package or .Sim3Packs content only that you want to check? Or both?

As already advised by HP and mangaroo, use Dashboard for .package.
But for .Sim3Packs, CUSTARD can only check files individually. Have you also checked for the doll in your .Sim3Packs and other assorted broken CC in .Sim3Packs format?

If the CC is broken and not fix by these 2 programs, you wouldn't have a choice but to remove them if the item has not been fixed and updated by the creators themselves...

Randomly crashing to desktop is also caused by outdated drivers - graphics and sound.

They're .package files, I have no Sims3Pack files in my game.
My launcher doesn't work, so I use an extracter to convert any Sims3Packs into package files anyway.
I'll see if there's any driver updates too, thanks.

Thanks for all the help, I left sims running while I went away from the computer for about 4 hours, and not had a crash so I think we're fixed!

Very happy, so thank you all :D
