My sims keep getting stuck in front of the elevators when I tell them to go home from the clubs. All the other sims will start walking over there too as it gets closer to closing time and no one will use the elevator. Then the club will close and everyone will get stuck insde the club. They pee themselves and pass out and miss work and when the club opens back up they still won't go home, they just stand there yelling like morons. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've sent them to another country right now, hoping that this will send them home. It did last time.

...You had them go to another country just to get them out of the club? You paid money and waited through two cutscenes? Why didn't you just teleport them out?

Teleport them out? How do I do that?

To get your sims out, you could type in the cheat "testingcheatsenabled true" (without quotes) and then shift-click on the location you want them to go and select "teleport here".

I'd guess there's something blocking the exit. When I have routing failures at clubs, I've found the only solution is to replace the club. Once your sims are at home, you can go to edit town and bulldoze the club and then replace it with a copy from the library.

It's not only route fail that causes this unbelievable situation. I have checked with Sims waiting or stuck on elevators and most times the reason has been that they wait to interact with another Sim. Because EAtards had the *brilliant* [NOT!] idea the player to be unable to delete the action queue, if Sim 2 is waiting for Sim 3 to tell a joke, and Sim 1 is waiting for Sim 2 to dance together, and Sim 4 wants to flirt with Sim 3, then they are all screwed.

CTRL-SHIFT-C to bring up the cheat console then type:
resetSim [firstname] [lastname]
or:
resetSim * to reset all the Sims at once
