I have The Sims 2 original game and Best of Business collection. I got this Best of Business collection a few days ago and immediately downloaded MaxoidMonkey's cars via the custom content browser on the Exchange when I found out that there was placeholder for cars. I wanted to download more cars from MaxoidMonkey but my Sims2pack installer didn't work and still doesn't work.

I also cannot download the sims2pack files of the hidden H&M fashion dress. It's the one that looks like a cropped jacket with short skirt, as shown: http://thesims2.ea.com/about/sp5_renders.php

I just want to know why my Sims2pack installer doesn't work.

Does anybody think that this hidden H&M dress require Bon Voyage? How do I find this dress? I want to extract this dress myself. I checked the Skins file using SimPE in my H&M folder and found nothing that would take me to the H&M hidden outfit.

What is the file name?

It's a bit difficult to tell what your problem is. Are you having problems downloading a file? Are you having problems finding the file on your hard drive? Are you having problems installing a file?

Could you please give us more information: a screenshot of what's going wrong, the text of an error message, even a step by step explanation of what you are actually doing and where it begins to fail?

Before, I had sims2pack clean installer. Then, I installed Sims 2 Best of Business. Then I wanted to install some Sims2pack files but couldn't open Sims2pack clean installer. So I uninstalled Sims2pack Clean Installer and restarted my computer. With the regular Sims2pack installer, I thought I could install the Sims2pack files but I couldn't either, because the installer couldn't open. Also, I couldn't locate the installer on my computer.

How are you trying to open the installer? Are you double clicking on the Sims2Pack file? Perhaps the file association for Sims2Pack files has been lost. If you reinstall the Clean Installer, it should reset your file associations. Alternatively, you can set the file associations yourself: right click on the file in the Windows Explorer and choose Open With / Choose Program... Select the program that you want to use to open the Sims2Pack files and check the box lableled "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file." then click the OK button.

That's exactly the problem I was trying to explain!

When I right-clicked on the file and chose "Open with...", I couldn't find the Sims2Pack installer. Do you know where the Sims2Pack installer is located?

The name of the program which ships with the game is "The Sims 2 Body Shop Package Installer". I'm not quite sure about the folder layout for the Best of Business collection, but I can find the most recent version of the package installer at "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 <latest EP name>\CSBin\PackageInstaller.exe". If you still can't find it, try searching your disk for "PackageInstaller.exe", then pick the one for the latest EP that you have installed.
