And NO, I don't have Mansions and Gardens Stuff xP

So, I had been on a long break of Sims because my disc was lost (x.x), but I found it today...so I was uploading a story. It was the first time for me to get the Error Code 5 message that apparently quite a few people get. So I looked around on the Internet for help, and found the patch. But then when that black box appeared, it maximized itself and took up my entire screen. It had in big white letters 'PATH NOT FOUND' with some other things, but it X-ed out before I could write it down. I tried to do it twice, alas, no luck :c

Anybody ever have this problem? If you did, could you fix it? And how? (I'm not re-installing x.x)

I'm thinking about restarting my computer since I had JUST turned off Sims 2 before grabbing the patch, I dn't know if that'll do anything though

Most people won't watch the video, so you'll need to provide more information.

Where are you attempting to upload your story? Could you attach a screenshot of the error message?

I'm having the same problem as the original poster except the black box doesn't maximize, it appears and disappears as normal, but "Error Code 5" still comes up when I attemp to upload a story to TS2.com.

I don't have M&G Stuff, either.

Tried with and without being logged in to TS2.com, same result.

And I have restarted my PC since the error first appeared.

Please suggest a solution if you can.
