Default "No Disc" / "Unable to authenticate with the time limit"
I get these messages whenever I try to load Apartment Life from a limited/restricted Windows XP user account, but (typically) not from an administrative account. (If I do get it with the admin account, clicking "retry" works.)

I can browse into the disc just fine and I'm bypassing the Launcher. I'm not running any sort of emulation software (at least I don't think so) and I don't have any user files in the limited/restricted user account's EA Games folder. I'm patched and the disc is fairly new.

What could cause this?

I'm running:
Windows XP Home SP3
Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.00 GHz, 3.0 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT.

Since SimPE throws a fit when not logged on as an admin, my admin account is my "creating" account and my limited/restricted user account is my "playing" account. So, I really want to be able to run it in my normal environment.

.....

Okay, so I noticed that there is a "Use with DLA" option checked when I right click on the disc in My Computer. Apparently, I have Sonic CD? Could this be the problem? *goes to google what this is*

I don't mind if you call me "MSD" or something for short.
Perhaps someday I'll have leisure time back...
