Create A World Tool - beta has crashed!
Hi everyone,

So I really wanted to try out the Create a world, I have all expansions including showtime, and my base game has just been patched to 1.33 no problems. However when I try to run create a world I am getting this error
"The Sims 3 Create a World Tool - Beta has crashed!
Exception information:
attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt"

I have searched the web and found many posts about the same problem but a lot are old posts 2010 etc, others that are more recent say its all about getting the base game patched to 1.33 which I have done fine. I have an i5 processor 5 GB ram and its relatively new so cant see the computer being the problem?

Does anyone have any fresh insight into this problem?

Oh also I do have some CC but I moved them out and still same error.

Hey kldean1, please try the suggestions in this thread:

In particular, make sure all of your EPs and Sps are patched fully too, as this has been found to cause instability on CAW.
