This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, Ambitions
Default no intro, no build sparkles, and package files not working. Please help me
After updating my game to 1.26 and installed Pets expansion pack, my package files stopped working. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling my game 3x.. I also deleted all my CC files just to see if the no intro and no build sparkles work. I've tried deleting my cache files but every time I start my game, there is still intro showing up.. I uninstalled and reinstalled again and updated my game version to 1.32 and deleted the mods folder but still after starting the game, there's still intro.. I don't know what to do already.. Please help me! Thank you in advance...

    To help you further, please carefully read and follow the following:

    First, double-check your setup: These instructions will take you through the things you should check yourself: Package Files Not Working. You may be able to fix the problem yourself using those instructions.

    Still not working? Then we will need ALL of the following information.
    1. What is the version of your base game?
      Windows OS: Game_Help:TS3_Patching_Find_Gameversionwiki
      Mac OSX: Game_Help:TS3_Patching_Find_Gameversion#info.plistwiki

      Copy and paste the indicated line from the skuversion.txt or info.plist, from the respective locations shown in the Find Gameversion Wiki, which would show you how to navigate to the following path: \Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin
      Quote:
      BG: GameVersion =
    2. Take THREE screenshots... one each of the following locations, with the Explorer/Finder window showing the Details View:
      • Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\
      • Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\
      • Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages

      ... and attach them to a post on this thread. Click Go Advanced and then Manage Attachments. Or if it says the pictures are too big, you can upload them to modyourpanties.com and copy and paste the links.
      We have a guide on how to take screenshots if you need assistance: Game_Help:Screenshotswiki.

      Make sure you set your folder view to Details mode, that you have file types showing (.package, .cfg, etc. on the ends of the filenames) and expand out the Name and Type columns so they're fully readable!

    3. Open your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\resource.cfg file in Notepad/TextEdit and copy-paste its contents here.

    4. Right-click on Resource.cfg and check Properties. Is the file name Resource.cfg or Resource.cfg.txt or something else?

    Please go through this FAQ and follow the instructions, doing each step in order and not skipping anything:Most issues with the game can be resolved by following those steps.

These 2 need to be equal if you have successfully ran the game after patching. And you're on 1.33, not 1.26, as the Skuversion.txt is always the current one. The version.tag file is volatile and is edited each time you run the game.

Patch 1.32 is buggy. Don't use that. See Game Help:Issues with 1.3x Superpatcherwiki
Why not just patch to 1.38? Game Help:Patch_Tablewiki

From, Game Help:TS3 Patching:Patch_Download/Currentwiki:
Quote:
To verify the patch really did update your game and completes the full process, you can verify that all versions in these 3 different areas are identical: Version tag == Launcher's BG icon == BG's skuversion.txt (info.plist for Mac OS X)

Do step#3 of the Game Problem FAQ (yes, skip the other steps), let the game generate a new set. And then redo the framework. In other words, Game_Help:GCCTSU3_ModsRedoFrameworkwiki.
Does it work then?

Default :(
I've updated my game to patch 1.38. Sadly, there's still intro and build sparkles showing up.

This one is in my version.tag:
Version]
Latest = 4.0.87.006001
LatestBase = 1.26.89.013002

This one is in my Skuversion.txt:
GameVersion = 1.38.151.018002
Code:0.RL-2.0.165
Asset:1.Content.rl.19
Thumbnails:1.Thumbnail.ml.97
TCC:1.TCC.dl.1209

My game launcher shows the BG version: 1.38.151.018002

My version tag doesn't change even after starting the game.. I think my Pets expansion pack installer has the problem..

I also tried Modsredoframework..

Anyway, thanks guys for all the help. I'll try to get another pets exp installer and see if the package files would work..

Why is there still a file called version.tag with old data if you had done the Game Problem FAQ steps?
The folders should be vanilla clean! And all ready for you to Redo the Framework on a clean slate!

And what do you mean by that?
