Create a .World file from a save game file?
Hello!
I just finished editing a save game of a world I recently edited with CAW. I put a bunch of lots in and I have it exactly the way I want it, but I want to go back into CAW with everything on there and tweak the shoreline.
Is there a way to do this?
Thanks!

Edit: Everything was placed via the game (not with the help of CAW's "In game editor"), the original world file is empty
I want to edit my save game world if it's possible

I'm not sure it is possible in quite the way you want it to work (maybe someone else knows more about this) but I *do* know that you can safely edit a world file in CAW and overwrite the default file for that world, and your landscape changes *will* be applied. I've edited terrains and roads of premade worlds before and simply overwrote the original file, and it loaded just fine. So, in theory, you should be able to tweak your shoreline and be just fine. Make backups, though, as always!

I forgot to mention that there is a downside to this: your terrain map (for lack of a better term) won't display the changes unless you modify that as well. What I mean is the map view you get when you are in ... well, map view! The game doesn't seem to update that on its own but appears to rely on the map images which are stored in the *.world file. So if you were to replace a terrain in S3PE this will *not* affect a world's map and it will display the old/original terrain in map view even though the terrain change took effect.
