This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Pets, Supernatural, Seasons
Default Can you uninstall only one expansion pack and leave the rest without a total reinstall?
Hi, I just got the Sims 3 Seasons EP. I also have World Adventures, Ambitions, and Late Night, and I run on Windows 7. Sadly with Seasons installed it pushes my game past the unplayable point due to lag and general slowness. I want to uninstall ONLY Seasons and I was wondering if this is possible without having to uninstall all of the other games as well? I I really don't want to do a total uninstall and reinstall if I can avoid it because I have a good amount of CC, saved sims, saves, and lots. Another question I have is if I can, will my saves still work? I started two new ones with Seasons, so if the other ones were never played while Seasons was installed, they should still be compatible, right? I've been trying to figure this out all day but the info has been confusing or conflicting. Help please? Thanks for any replies.

If you uninstall an EP, any game saved with that EP will no longer work until that EP is back. But games that have never been played with that EP should be ok. You might need to double check CC to be sure it's compatible with the game once Seasons is removed, but you aren't un-patching so it should be ok.

And you should be able to uninstall just one EP from add/remove programs (or Programs and features, or whatever it's called now.)

I would make a backup of everything anyway. (Do you really trust EA not to accidentally delete all your CC when you remove an EP?)

It's better to use the Uninstall Sims 3 Seasons shortcut in your Start menu. Never trust Microsoft to do something if the software authors provided an alternative!
