This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3
Default NoIntro.package not working
Hi all,

I really hope I'm just overlooking something, but unfortunately I don't think I am.

None of the custom content that I've downloaded is working. (So far I only have NoBuildSparkles and NoIntro). I've downloaded the Mods framework from this site, as well as the latest Resource.cfg. My game is currently running 1.4.6.00002. This is because I did a fresh install after my first fresh install, then patch to 1.6.6 wouldn't load these CC's either.

I've followed all the steps for the .package CC tutorials in the FAQ. I've got my Framework in the right place (Documents, not Program Files (x86)), my game is updated. Everything I can find, I've tried. I've even tried CC Magic, to no avail.

If anyone can give me some suggestions as to why I can't get even the test CC to work, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you in advance,
Nick

Your patch version is too old/low. As stated in the http://simswiki.info/wiki.php?title..._Files#Ready.21 subsection: CC Framework in Documents require games to be on patch 1.12 and newer.

Also, most mods (that are continuously updated and maintained by the modder) require the game to be at the current version. To see what the current patch version is, see the "Patch Table" wiki article. You'll find the link in my signature.

And...welcome to MTS, Nick!

My apologies, I thought it ready 1.1.2 for some reason. I feel dumb haha. Thanks!

It is easy to confuse the numbering, join the club. But I had to make sure to point out that 1.1.2 is also different from 1.12.
