The Way Music Plays In Game

Remember with The Sims 2, when you'd click on Buy Mode, the buy mode music plays? Or when you'd click on Build mode the build mode music plays? Or CAS the cas music plays? Or if you're in neighborhood the neighborhood music plays? Etc, well somehow in The Sims 2 University and Nightlife, Maxis took that out, now all the music from CAS, Neighborhood, Buy and Build mode plays altogether when I go into Buy or Build Mode. Why can't it just play the Build and Buy Music? When I enter the modes? Is there a fix for this? Or will someone fix that behavior with a hack? Thanks.
