Restore deleted Sim?

Does anyone know of a fairly simple way to restore a Sim I accidentally deleted from the sim bin? :dunce: He is now showing under characters as a game object rather than a person, and everyone has forgotten him, but he still seems to have all his age photos etc., so I would really like to restore him. I have SimPE but have never been good at using it, and this sim of course doesn't even show up in the sim browser now. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
