Sims 2 Storyline?

Hi everyone, hope this question hasn't been asked before. I'm wondering if it is possible to add a storyline to the pc version of Sims 2 through modding. I know you can mod careers, but I'd like to be able to add objectives with popup text (kinda like the starting pop-up messages you get when you play as one of the pre-packaged characters). A good example of what I'm looking for is the tutorial, where you have objectives like "turn on the radio", "take a shower" etc etc with popup messages when an outcome is successfully completed.

I really like Sims 2, but actually prefer the psp/ds versions where there is an inbuilt storyline. It'll be really cool to be able to make your own "missions" for the pc version too.

Something tells me this question has been asked before - but I searched and all the threads were about modding careers, behaviours, clothes, textures etc, nothing about goals.

Yes, I know what you mean. I asked bafore, but I think they all said you couldn't do it. I'm sure someone can, though, you'll just have to wait for them to post in here.
