Mail disappears after sims get it

Has anyone else noticed this? They will start to carry it, but either I click on them to put it down or they reach the place they want to put it on. Once they "drop" it, it's gone. I haven't played any of the families long enough to see if the repo man will come, but this really bugs me.

Yes I noticed this with the kid's homework. If they place this on certain parts of the lot the homework will disappear. Sounds like a neat trick for kids but in reality it's not good for grade improving.

I am playing without any hacks, careers or majors and i have never seen it since i installed OfB. I would think it's a bad hack. Please check your downloads folder ofr any hacks, careers or majors which aren't compatible with OfB.
