Hey, B here.

I've seen how people have made new interactions with new animations for objects or for Sims. I'm still pretty new to TS and I'm not quite sure how to make clothing, objects, or custom content, or hair and other genetics, so I thought I'd try interactions first.

I have never amtepmted this, so I need a list of requirements for making interactions and/or animations (when I say animations, I mean new movement or motion for Sims).

Also, I need step-by-step instructions or I may get lost and upload a completely wrong interaction and get everyone mixed up.

Please, and, thank you.

Okay, you have this backwards.

You start by creating -simple- things, like walls and floors, clothing recolours, etc.; creating interactions and animations is HARD and even the best of the modders find it very very difficult. You can't jump in at interactions and animations without a very solid basis in how other things are created. I have a tutorial on creating walls and floors under my profile; Faylen has tutorials on recolouring clothing in the Body Shop Skinning area under Create, and there's tutorials on recolouring objects in the Object Creation & Texturing area under Create. You're welcome to look at the information we do have about animations, but as I say, it's in no way beginner information, and I don't think there's any step-by-step for beginner's tutorial on it, for the reasons I already mentioned.

I'm moving this to the Modding Discussion area of Create as the Game Help area is more for, "Ack, my game is asploding!" type questions rather than "Help me learn to make stuff" questions. ;)
