OK, I put -w at the end of the properties on the Sims shortcut, OK, it does go into window mode but window mode won't fit my screen. I think it is a way to play in window mode and have it for my screen which is 1024 by 768!. Someone please help me. I have searched and did not find an answer! Thanks@! :alarm:

Try setting the ingame resolution in the game options to 800x600 - that should work I think.

You can specify window size if I remember correctly (I don't remember the exact code, but ti's something like -w 1024x768) but when I did that (I have a freaky huge monitor) I just ended up with a black border around my game. I didn't fiddle much with it though; let me know if you have more luck.

Try:
-w -r1152x864
(Change the numbers to what works for you.) The window will always float on your desktop, it won't fill out the window and just leave the start-bar on the bottom of the screen, but it does work better than a tiny window on a huge screen.

Try what I said:
"C:\The Sims 2 Family Fun Stuff\TSBin\Sims2SP1.exe" -w -r1152x864
You can't have windowed mode and full screen at the same time, but you can adjust the size of the window to better fit your screen size.
