My cheats dont work

i type my cheats in the box, and nothing happens. the only thing that works is getting more simoleons. the maxmotives dont work and i need them. what do i do.

I have that same problem too! the box disappears after i enter them, so they are correct, just nothing happens!

Which specific cheats are you trying to activate, and what exactly are you typing?

I've tried
boolProp testingCheats Enabled true (a series of numbers appeared at the top right hand corner)
intProp censorGridSize 0
intProp maxNumOfVisitingSims 8
setHighestAllowedLevel
boolProp enablePostProcessing true
Nothing happens in any of them, though it recognises them like ordinary cheats. Only the money and aging cheats actually do something.

The testing cheat is typed as follows:
boolprop testingcheatsenabled true
with no space between cheats and enabled.
The censor grid size only works on the unpatched basegame; if you are patched you need to find Quaxi's hack on the adult site.
The maximum sim number cheat looks correct... try exiting and re-entering the lot.
The set highest allowed level cheat requires a numerical value.
Post processing is correct; you now have to apply one of the post processing cheats (there is no visible outcome to enabling post processing on it's own).

Did you enter a number after? And remember, you need to actually build walls for the level higher button to come out of the grey, if that was confusing you.


As for the ctrl shift c thing, I think someone made a thread. Have you made sure that the ctrl key is working?
