Game screen turns blue.

Whenever I play the screen will randomly turn blue and have a loading hand, sometimes it returns to the game, and I won't do anything and it goes back. But sometimes it never goes back and the loading hand goes away and just stays as a blue screen. Once the screen started to blink and the only way to get out is turning off my computer.

I have check my graphixs cards, andtried to find a folder that is affecting it, but nothing seems to work.

Why is this happening? Is is freezing?

Okay, as far as i can see your pc is powerfull enough. You might take a look at this thread: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=117748
The last pages are all people who have a similar problem. I'm not sure if there is a solution yet, but you can try it there.

This usually seems to be a memory issue- the bluescreen is when the computer has to dump the memory. When I was having the issue on my PC I managed to improve it by using different drivers and removing the old drivers, but the only thing that cured it completely was adding more RAM.
