Okay so I have the Quickinstall thing, winrar, and all the other little things it takes for me to get custom stuff. I want to download a Harry Potter skin (I'm like on my third one it can't possibly be the skin its self), and it won't show up on my game.
The only thing that showed up were his pants (woopdy freggin doo)
So I dunno if I'm looking in the wrong spot or what. Where are skins SUPPOSE to be?

See that's the thing If i don't have the mesh it tells me straight up I don't have it, I downloaded the mesh, it's just not on the game. I dunno maybe I just think I downloaded the mesh and actually I'm losing my freggin mind. THanks for the help anyway.

Bodyshop content can be put into either the Downloads or Saved Sims folders. Some people find that those items need to be put into the Saved Sims folder to show up, while other need those same files to be in Downloads. There doesn't seem to be too much of a rhyme or reason why that I've been able to tell. So I'd try moving the clothes mesh and recolor files from whichever folder they're currently in to the other and see if that works.
