Couple of Bugs

1) Cat Condo:
From the energy stat supplement, I assume cats should be able to sleep in the cat condo. The problem is that my cats never slept in it, ever. When I put one on a lot, my cats would rather prefer to sleep on the floor. My cats do however, use it as a scratching post.

2) Maid & Aquarium:
Whenever I have an aquarium with fish in it and a maid on the same lot, whenever it cleans the aquarium, the animation loops, as in, after the maid should be done cleaning it, it cleans it again. To my knowledge, this only happens with the aquarium.

The maid problem has been around since the base game. No real fix.

For the cat condo, I think you may have to scold your cat for sleeping on the floor- he obviously prefers this. Maybe it depends on the pet's personality... a doofus pigpen would most likely love sleeping on the floor. If you really wanted to force the cat to use the condo you could always control it to sleep there, then get your sim to praise the cat for this action.
For the maid problem, this was completely solved for me in one of the patches, but as Gwillewyn mentions a lot of people still have the trouble in game. When it used to occur for me I found that sacking the maid and hiring another often helped (as Lucy Hanby was usually the worst culprit).
