Hello Everyone,

So I decided to finally post about a problem I have beeen having. When I had downloaded OFB before it had worked. Now, this wierd error comes up saying it cant transfer a certain, file. Here is a picture of it. I tried to clean the disk, manually install the disk, but a error pops up there, and finally I tried again, and honestly its just not working at all.

If you have cleaned the disc and also tried a manual install (http://support.ea.com/cgi-bin/ea.cfg/php/enduser/olh_adp.php?p_faqid=14221&p_created=1161378903&p_sid=y86m55qi&skin=) then it seems like your disc must be damaged. Your only option is to exchange it:

If the disc is damaged, the files will not copy to your hard drive correctly. If you think there are some files you may not have deleted then you can easily check; you should delete anything in the following to do with The Sims and expansions:
Program Files/ EA Games
My Documents/ EA Games (backup these if you want to keep your custom content/ hoods)
Documents and Settings/ All Users/ Start Menu/ Programs/ EA Games
You can also check to make sure you don't have any remaining registry keys:
