Loading screen keeps freezing

My game keeps freezing at the loading screen. I have the exp Nightlife and Open for Buisness. The game started freezing once I installed Open for business. Now what?

Have you custom contents or hacks? If yes, try to move temporarily the Download folder on desktop and see if the problem persists.

I'm having the same problem, i've used clean installer and all the files seem to be ok. It freezes on 'crenellating crenellations' when loading. When i move the downloads folder to the desktop won't this enable my custom content?

It will disable all your custom content. You want to do that, to see if the game WILL load without any custom content. If it will, the problem is in your downloads folder someplace. I had this problem when I installed OFB. I finally got rid of whatever .package it was that wasn't working -I forget now which it was.

This is happening to me, it stops on 'Falsifying Faux Finishes' every time. I just downloaded Glamour Life. I'll have to try taking away my CC.

Kyee, follow the game help wiki guide to troubleshoot your problems. Works for Mac as well as PC; you just need to adjust the terminology and file paths.
