Help With files

I've downloaded some Houses/Community Lots, and I double click on them to get installed with the Sims 2 Package Installer, and after that it says, "Please double-click on a custom content package file to install the content". I don't understand this, some one please help!

Oh, and by the way, when this happened I used rar files

I assume that you have successfully expanded the .rar files and the extension is now .sims2pack, correct? If so, try dragging the .sims2pack onto the package installer application, rather than double clicking the file.

If they are .package files, they just go directly in the downloads folder without having to double click them.
