The never ending greenhouse roof

I did a search and couldn't find this anywhere, but I find it hard to believe no one else has had this problem or used it as a "cheat" but here goes.

I built a greenhouse (my first one).It was a small starter.

I decided to make it bigger and now I can't get rid of the old roof.I have completely demolished the old greenhouse and everything that was in it and even moved the family off of the lot.

If I go back in build mode and build a greenhouse with those tiles the roof reappears and gets in the way.

Is it just me or has anyone else encountered this before?

have you used the green house roof tools or the default roof tools to remove it yet?

Yes, I have tried both ways and even used the "remove roof" option which removes the roof from the house but the greenhouse roof remains.

I also tried to just build a regular room but the roof is still there.

did you lock the roof?
or it wasn't attempted on that level where the roofs are at?
or, that's a bug in your game copy?
or else?

Okay, I don't have any idea what I did any different but I fineally got it to delete. I really don't understand but at least it is gone now.

I think I may have a similar problem. (sorry for hijacking your thread by the way)

I was building a roof on the top floor, and by accident, pressed the n-key (instead of the question mark), wanting to scope horizontally. So the game goes to my sim, I don't pay anything, but I still get a two-tiles deep, y tiles long roof artefact. And nothing I do will remove it. Exited the neighbourhood, deleted the floors sustaining it, clicked the "remove roofs" button, etc.

Any help?

No matter what I do, my old greenhouse rooves will not be removed. I have removed all supports, anything near it, etc etc etc, and I still can't delete it. Whenever I click the sledgehammer icon, the greenhouse roof disappears, as though I had exited build mode.

Can anyone give me any advice, please?

Since I've not had this problem yet, I can't think of anything that may work other than I said before.

Probably, use the roof-remover in the roof tools...?

Eeep, I fixed it! The 'remove roof' option doesn't work, so what I did was go into the section where you buy the greenhouse roof, click on the roof in the menu, and then hold down the control button over the roof in your yard and left click twice. Hopefully that'll help you out, Noku!
