Heyy this is a simple guide to how to make green screen backgrounds in your game and turn them into a lovely city or sunset ( this is the same tut for videos )


YOU NEED:
the sims 2 ( no ep`s required )
video edit magic ( free at http://www.deskshare.com/download_details.aspx?ID=1)
A desired background

1.open the sims 2 and enter the lot you want to have the background with

2.Hear i am makeing a room but you can use a prebuild house or anything

3.Now the hardest part of this tut :D make a sort of extention onto the side BUT!! LEAVE A SECTION OUT FOR LIGHT TO GET IN!

4.Make another story

5.Now on your room inside if you havent already done so make it lively by adding paint and a carpet plus objects BUT! DO NOT MAKE ANY OF THE CLOURS GREEN ( or the chosen colour that the background will take from )

6.Now on the extention thingy paint it all ONE shade of green ( or chosen colour ) and put a MATCHING carpet

7.Set up your pose , take a pic then exit the sims 2

8. open up video edit magic ( dont worry it dose pictures ) and click " edit video,audio and image files

9.open your disired picture/video and place it in VIDEO 1

10.Open up your wanted background picture and place in VIDEO 2

11.Click the " transactions " tab and select chroma key colour

12. Now it should open a options tab ( if it dosent show your sims 2 picture click " swap video tricks ) and take the dropper and select the colour of your backdrop ( in my case, green )

THATS IT!! ALL DONE :D!!


ps. a thing to watch out for is lighting difrence as you can see int he pic below it changes the shade of green
