Okay so I'm a 'noob' so I may not be doing this exactly right, but I have an obj. file open in milkshape, and I want to export it and overwrite another obj file. But milkshape is being stupid and its not letting me overwrite. It asks me if I want to, i say yes. It acts like its overwriting, but when I open the file that I just overwrote it on, its the original file! Not the file i saved! This is so frustrating please help!

That's... weird, but do you HAVE to overwrite it? Why not just call it "object2.obj" if the original is "object.obj"? It shouldn't matter the filename.

All versions of MilkShape I used during the last years didn't overwrite an existing *.obj-file with the same file name. Don't worry, the saved file exists but without the suffix "obj". My solution is to change it manually or save the *.obj-file under a different name. This way I always have a backup of the previous version.
It doesn't matter what name is used to import the correct content in SimPE.
