clothing age change help needed

ok so ive been changing teen clothing so adults can wear them but when i add them theres a huge gap between the sholder and the head is there any way to fix this?

That's because you've been doing it wrong - if you're following Faylen's tutorial to age convert clothes, it says quite clearly it only works for young adult/adult/elder.

If you want to convert -any- other ages you have to make a new mesh, refit to the other age's body.

That depends on you and how fast you learn, and your preexisting skill levels. There are tutorials over in the Body Shop Meshing area. Some people find it relatively easy, and some people find it very hard. You need to go through the three Unimesh tutorials. I'm pretty sure #3 has info on age refits at the end.
