View Full Version : Trapped witches and multiple townie clones

I've read the support for the problems with Sims getting trapped on business lots but I don't think mine is the same issue.

Sometimes my business owners will get trapped on their own lot - but not because of their car or other bugs that the Open For Business patch solves.

Since installing Apartment life, it seems that multiple witches appear on the lot, off the edge and out of sight. You can't tell them to leave because for all intents and purposes they're not there, so the business owner waves his arms and blows a whistle fruitlessly trying to clear the lot before leaving. I can delete them using cheats, but that's all.

Also, I have a problem that I'm not sure is a glitch or a coincidence. It seems that half of my townies are clones. Multiple versions of the same characters in the same outfits and with the same genetics appear, under different names. So far I've had six versions of a blonde woman in a flat cap and glasses, three of a blonde dude in big green glasses and a red t-shirt and more...

Thanks in advance.

In order to better solve your problem, please go through the following as listed below:

General - Do the Game Problem FAQ
You appear to have not gone through our main Game Help:Game Problem FAQ. Please go through and do the steps on this FAQ, including any others that it links to (for example the Game Help:Game Problem-Problem Custom Content FAQ).

Usually, in the vast majority of cases, actually going through and doing the steps (doing, not just reading) fixes issues - sometimes you may be asked to remove custom content, or to patch - please rest assured that all of our FAQs have been tested by our staff and volunteers and we wouldn't suggest you do something unless it's been known to fix particular issues.

On occasion you might be asked to do a long FAQ - please make sure you do all the steps and don't just skip over them. You'll often find that these long FAQs have all the details you need. If nothing in the above FAQs fixes your problem you may post again detailing exactly which you have done and which steps failed.
