Run away pets

Is there anyway to get run away pets back? I phoned the dog registery and my dog was wearing a collar but he still hasn't been found. If he's never going to come back I want him out of my household because hes taking up valuable space and making me feel bad everytime I see him =/ So, Any one know what to do?

Sometimes it takes a day or two. You don't phone the 'registry'..you "Report Lost Pet". Have patience...and answer the phone in case someone calls and says they have your pet. BTW...they WILL call.

Yeah, I knew I had phoned something like that lol.. Okies, I'll wait and keep an eye on the phone :D

Good luck. When this first happened to me, my heart skipped a beat. But all was well...it took a couple of days for the call. Whew!
