Two Pets questions

Hey all.

1. When I created one of my dogs, I forgot to see if it was male or female. Now its in my game, how to I tell?

2. I have two dogs from two diff familes. I'm not sure how I get them to meet, lol. I want them to have puppies.

Hi!

1. Look in your dog's owner relationship panel. The dog's picture will show either a male or female symbol.

2. Invite the other dog's family over and include the dog in the invitees list. :)

2. Or you could cheat and use Christianlov's puppy/kitten creator (at the Graveyard) to make puppies with those two parents. :giggler:

Not that I know of...you'd have to make a new dog :/

Maybe with SimPE. :shrug:

You could also register the breed of the current dog, go into CAS, and make a female version.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but do you remember how you did it? :) I went through all the MaterialDefinitions and set all the ParamGenders to 0, but it still shows as female in my game...

Maybe it's 1 then :shrug: it's possible that 0 is set for female and 1 for male. SimPE can get complicated. Check the tutorials over at MTS2 (if I wasn't being lazy I'll pop over there and give you the link)

if you're just doing it for the purposes of breeding, you can use insim to impregnate any dog (male or female) with any other dog, which saves the hassle of changing them to male or female, since the gender doesn't really affect anything else in the game.
